I have a bc 60GB PS3 (CECHA01= full hardware emulation), and I cannot see the temperature when playing a PS2 game, but if I choose to use the software emulation (with Rebug CFW) then I can. ![]() I read about this, and the reason it's because of the way that PS2 emulation works in the bc models (the PS3 enters a mode like it's not a full PS3 so some parts of its OS are not accesible). ![]() As far as I know, you can't monitor the temperatures of PS2 games when the backwards compatible function is working, you can hovewer set the fan speed to a fixed speed before launching the game (with webman Mod).īut, if you are launching the PS2 games using the software emulation (non-bc PS3 models or bc PS3 models with the PS2 emulator selected to "software", the same from PS2 Classics), then yes you can see the temperature. ![]()
